Gleaning and Giving: Thinking about Poverty Relief

During the past year I’ve done a lot of thing about the intersection of faith, work and economics, in large part due to a course that I taught on the Doctrine of Vocation in the fall of 2014.  During this season, my attention was drawn to the stewardship of our finances on behalf of another.

I was recently given two opportunities to address an issue regarding faith and culture and I decided to present the same ideas about stewardship and poverty relief in both venues.  The first was in written form on the Canon & Culture blog of the ERLC and the other in a TED Talk format on the campus of Southeastern Seminary (below).
